The Boston Pizza RDP Athlete of the Week for November 18, 2024

In his first start in the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC), Drew Dykstra had an outstanding performance for the Red Deer Polytechnic Kings Volleyball team. On Friday, the six-foot-five setter accumulated 24 assists, four digs, three service aces and one kill in the Kings’ three set sweep over the Concordia University Thunder (25-14, 25-18 and 25-12). Dykstra was named the Kings Player-of-the Match.

The Kings (5-0) are the only undefeated team in ACAC Men’s Volleyball.

This weekend, Bentley’s Dykstra (Open Studies) and the RDP Kings will challenge The King’s University Eagles and Northwestern Polytechnic Wolves.
