Boston Pizza RDP Athlete of the Week for October 14, 2025
Korben Skjolde has been making an impact on the pitch for the Red Deer Polytechnic Kings Soccer team. Even though the RDP Kings dropped their weekend game 4-0 to the SAIT Trojans, the second-year forward put forth a tremendous effort, attempting to create offensive opportunities while paying attention to his defensive duties. Calgary’s Skjolde was named the Kings Player of the Game.
Skjolde has demonstrated continuous improvement throughout the season. On October 5, the Bachelor of Kinesiology student was also recognized as the North Star Sports Kings Player of the Game against the first place Medicine Hat College Rattlers at RDP.
On Sunday, October 19, Skjolde and the Red Deer Polytechnic Kings will host the Olds College Broncos at Setters Place in Red Deer.
