Boston Pizza RDP Athlete of the Week for October 6, 2025

Julianna Chipiuk had another outstanding weekend for the Red Deer Polytechnic Queens Cross Country Running team. At Running Room Grand Prix #4, Edmonton’s Chipiuk (24:25) placed second among Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) female runners over 6 km, only six seconds behind leader Ashlee Walker of Concordia, and helped the RDP Queens finish first as a team with 45 points.  

Chipiuk, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing student, and the Red Deer Polytechnic Queens will compete at the ACAC Cross Country Running Championships on October 25 in Grande Prairie.

Boston Pizza RDP Athlete of the Week for September 22, 2025

Julianna Chipiuk made an impact at Running Room Grand Prix #2 in Lethbridge. The talented Bachelor of Science in Nursing student (26:44) led the Queens, placing second among Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference (ACAC) female runners over 6 km.

Her outstanding result helped the Red Deer Polytechnic Queens Cross Country Running team earn second as a group with 29 points. The Queens only trailed the first-place Medicine Hat College Rattlers (25 points) by four points.

Edmonton’s Chipiuk and the RDP Queens Cross Country Running team will compete at Running Room Grand Prix #3 in Grande Prairie on Saturday, September 27.
